What Activities Will My Dog Enjoy?

When you send your dog to one of our Immersion Programs they will be immersed in our trainer’s daily life and loved and trained as if they are one of their own dogs. In this way, they will not only receive training with a professional In Touch Dog Trainer at our facility, but they will also be trained to continue to pay attention and be obedient even through the biggest distractions by training out in the real world, in real world situations.

While training with In Touch Dog Training your dog will go on field trips to places like Home Depot, Lowe’s, Gander Mountain, the local dog parks, and trips to various locations that are known to test your dog’s ability to pay attention and respond to you. The purpose of these excursions is to simulate your real life. In this way, you’ll be able to take your dog everywhere you would like to take them and be happy, confident, and satisfied that your dog can be happy, confident, and obedient.

We have a variety of Immersion Programs that are built around your desires and outcomes for your dog. During your Free Consultation, we will learn what those goals are, what your family schedule is like during the average week and discuss training options that are right for you.

What Happens When My Dog Finishes the Program?

Once your dog returns from the programs you receive unlimited follow up lessons. In your lessons, we will then teach you, and anyone else that lives with or handles your dog, what they learned and how to continue reinforcing their education. In your follow-up lessons, we keep things simple and easy to follow while making it fun for everyone to stay consistent with your training. Once we’ve completed your In-Home training we will then meet at locations of your choice to continue with your training in highly distracting environments. And then when you’re ready you can then attend any of our group lessons here at our location.
